These accolades highlight Ayla\u2019s commitment to aligning development efforts with environmental preservation, natural resource conservation, and carbon footprint reduction, establishing the club as one of the world\u2019s leading sustainable golf courses.
\nThe awards were given in recognition of Ayla\u2019s dedication to sustainable growth, which is embedded in the vision, mission, and operations of Ayla Golf Club. The recognition is based on extensive research conducted by expert committees that evaluated the comprehensive sustainability strategy implemented by both Ayla and the golf club.
\nAyla Golf Club was awarded with the titles of \u201cMost Sustainable 18-Hole Golf Course\u201d in the region, \u201cMost Sustainable Desert Golf Course\u201d worldwide, \u201cMost Sustainable Mountain Golf Course\u201d locally, and the \u201cMost Sustainable Championship Golf Course\u201d in the Middle East.

\nAyla Golf Club is Jordan\u2019s first championship golf course, featuring 18 holes and a golf academy with a 9-hole course designed by the legendary Greg Norman. His design exemplifies Ayla\u2019s commitment to sustainability, spanning 800,000 square meters of undulating fairways, lakes, and strategically placed holes, integrating the natural landscape seamlessly.
\nFrom the start, Ayla Golf Club was designed with sustainability at its core, considering Jordan\u2019s unique environmental features. The course includes artificial lakes and valleys that serve as groundwater reservoirs for irrigation, seamlessly integrated into the course\u2019s layout. These water bodies also provide a crucial resting spot for migratory birds, enhancing the local ecosystem. During its development, the club\u2019s construction was led by Elite Oppenheim, a renowned architectural firm known for prioritizing social and environmental considerations.
\nThe club\u2019s infrastructure incorporates green energy technologies, including a 9 MW solar power plant, and water conservation practices to maximize efficiency. It uses 3,000 cubic meters of treated water daily for irrigation, preserving natural resources and adhering to strict environmental standards. The club also employs energy-saving lighting systems to reduce water and electricity usage across its facilities.<\/p>\n

Strategically located, Ayla Golf Club serves as a key stop for migratory birds traveling between Africa, Asia, and Europe. It plays a pivotal role in the Ayla Feather Trail, a unique bird-watching path outside protected areas, showcasing a variety of bird species in their natural habitat.<\/p>\n
